The National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) showed that at least half of the U.S. population had inadequate intakes of magnesium.

Not only will you get the benefits of magnesium with these DIY salts, but you will also have a great opportunity to relax. Just what I need.

Tips For Making This Recipe

  • Change up the essential oils based on the type of bath or kind of day you are having. Stressed? Use lavender and chamomile. Muscle ache? Just a drop or two of peppermint can helps sore muscles.
  • If you don’t have baking soda, you can totally skip it.
  • Add dried herbs or fresh rose petals to the bath water for a more luxurious, spa-like treatment.
  • Pair this with my favorite Homemade Bubble Bath and brown sugar body scrub.
